Full Description

During excavations at the Gilberd School, 1984-5, several sherds of Oxfordshire-type colour-coated wares were recovered from the site. These were dated variously to the period ending in AD 250/AD275 but some also derived from post Roman contexts.<1>

Twenty-three flints of poor quality, including two plano-convex knives.<2>
