Full Description

Late C17/early C18 timber framed cart lodge.

A historic asset assessment was undertaken by Leigh Alston of this building, and three other farm buildings to the north, in 2016.<1> The building is absent from the 1839 tithe map (note that the Listing description states that it is of circa 1700) and was built soon afterwards as an open-ended wagon shed rather than a cart lodge.<1>
