Part of one or more 16th century buildings, with 18th century front.

Structural survey of numbers 39-41 Queen Street during renovation work. The building is a complex of 16th century timber-framed buildings with a brick Georgian front. <1>

D of E survey. Late C18 front, older, possibly medieval core. Brick, painted with rustication quoins. Shop below, 5 windows above, sashes with glazing bars. Parapet, slate roof. <2>
