The upper floors have slightly bowed windows on either side with a small window between, all sashes with glazing bars. Hipped roof, slate at front pantiled at rear. Mid C19 2 storey wing to north, 2 windows with marginal glazing. Parapet, roof not visible.
Nos 35 to 48 (consec) form a group <1>

This building could not be located and may no longer be extant. <2>

The listed building description in the green backs does not match the extant structure (now called the Lemon Tree restaurant) . It is probable that 48 St Johns Street, an C19 Gault Brick fronted house, was demolished to make way for the modern shop, built (by 2000) to the rear of the plot and fronting onto St Issacs Walk (north)and in line with 48A (a late C19 red brick industrial building to the west). The confusion results from the listing being mistakingly transferred to 48A (now re-numbered 48 following the demolition of the original 48) The Listed building was probably demolished during the 1990s <3>
