Full Description
Ditch 13 was 0.88m wide x 0.37m deep, aligned NW to SE and may possibly have been a continuation of (undated) ditch 42 in Trench 4 (aligned with this ditch but c.100m away). Its fill (14) contained two sherds of Roman pottery dating to the middle of the 1st century AD.
Adjacent ditch 32 was larger, 2.8m wide x 0.65m deep, and aligned E to W. The fill (33) contained four sherds of pottery from a Roman storage vessel.<1>
