Full Description

Three ditches (others are MCC3002 and MCC3004) were recorded in Area C1, none of which contained any datable evidence, although one was truncated by both the later Roman structure and metalled surface, indicating they are likely to be either pre-Roman or early Roman in date.

This ditch is orientated north-west to south-east, along the same alignment as MCC3004. There is an 11m gap between the two ditches at the centre of the site.<1>
