Full Description
Three ditches (others are MCC3003 and MCC3004) were recorded in Area C1, none of which contained any datable evidence. One was truncated by both the later Roman structure and metalled surface, indicating they are likely to be either pre-Roman or early Roman in date. This ditch is orientated north-east to south-west, at a right angle to the other two.<1>
