Full Description

An undated linear ditch in Evaluation Trench 1, aligned N to S. Its stratigraphical position suggests an early date, and also the fact that it was not aligned with Berechurch Road to the east supports this. Therefore, a likely date before the post-medieval period can be supported, with the stratigraphical position suggesting a Roman or prehistoric origin. <1>
