Full Description

LWC D278 F162. East-west robber trench.
Crucible fragment from F162, robber trench. Body sherd with an added extra outer layer of less refractory clay. XRF detected slight traces of copper which had coloured the vitrified surface red. Possibly early medieval in date.<1>
