Full Description

In Trench 2, a layer of septaria and mortar running SW-NE was uncovered, which has been interpreted as the remains of a collapsed Roman wall. The Roman features seen were limited to the front of the house. However, the house foundations were not monitored and therefore it is not known if these features extend to the east. <1>
