Full Description
A north-south Roman wall discovered during excavations in Castle Park in 1927/8 (ECC793). The wall ran alongside an adjacent Roman drain (MCC1515). It was in a very bad state of preservation and was 'continued as a very ruinous rubble core, 3ft. thick, for 33ft. to the south'.<1>
