Full Description

Slight traces of a north-south Roman, septaria wall discovered during excavations in a Castle Park in 1927/8. The wall was thought to be one of three which belonged to a building (see also MCC2375 and MCC2377) and was situated 62 ft. west of the western edge of a drain culvert (see MCC1515). 'The remains were only about a foot thick and very fragmentary'.<1>
