Full Description

In the south west corner of the Sheepen Site Area C4 lay the very imperfect remains of a skeleton. It had been buried in the filling of Ditch II and in line with it, the head to the east. At the feet stood a large mask-mouthed flagon of buff clay decorated with red paint, at a depth of three feet. Hull's Grave Group No 555.<1><2>
