Full Description

A north-south Roman wall along the east side of Insula 10. The wall was discovered during excavations on the site of a new Telephone exchange in 1963 (ECC950). An east-west return to the north (MCC2076) may have been part of the same wall or at least butted up against it as evidenced by a robber trench. It seems likely that these were internal walls of the large Roman building (MCC2060) which occupied this part of the Insula.<1>
