Full Description

A small 'curiously constructed' ditch discovered during excavations by A.F. Hall along the north side of Field 1266a of the Royal Grammar School playing fields (ECC948). The ditch contained much Roman pottery at one point, some of which dated to the third or fourth century.<1>
