Full Description

A series of shallow pits (F3, F6-11, F13) of Roman date recovered in Trenches T1, T4 & T5.<1> Gravel layer in trench 2 could be part of a Roman Road, although does not fit with any known alignment, for purposes of visibility recorded as 'yard'.
