Full Description

Traces of robbed out North-south Roman wall in trenches T10, had evidence of a wooden pile foundation. This may relate to MCC1550 which was on roughly the same alignment. It may also relate to the Roman buildings excavated by Blake (MCC1607 or MCC1642). However, his trenches were not plotted accurately and there is insufficient evidence.<1><2>
