Full Description

A robbed-out Roman wall discovered during excavations (ECC812) on land acquired for the Eastern National Bus Depot in 1931. The wall slot was 2ft. 4in. wide and situated 6ft. from the surface. It ran in an east-west direction. No rubble remained in it.<1>
