Full Description

An east-west Roman ditch was discovered during the excavation of a sewer trench on the Queen Street Bus Station site in 1958/9. The ditch appears to have been a roadside ditch which ran along the southern edge of a Roman street (MCC1467). The ditch was flanked on its south side by a wall (MCC1699).<1>
