Full Description

Part of a tessellated floor, discovered during the excavation of a sewer trench on the Queen Street Bus Station site in 1958/9 (ECC1523). The floor appears to have been bounded on its southern edge by an east-west wall (MCC1713) and both the floor and wall may have been part of 'House III' (MCC1684) discovered during excavations on the site in 1955 (ECC667).<1>
