Full Description

An east-west Roman wall discovered during the excavation of a sewer trench at the Queen Street Bus Station in 1958/9 (ECC1523). The wall was situated to the south and north of tessellated pavements (MCC1702 and MCC1705) and may have been part of 'House II' (MCC1701) discovered during excavations on the site in 1955.<1>
