A Roman building situated at the south east corner of Insula 32 within the grounds of East Hill House. The building was discovered during groundwork for a new day nursery. Remains consisted of deep masonry foundations with a thick substantial daub floor. The foundations joined to form a T-shape with one or two robbed foundations extending northwards from them. The unrobbed foundations consisted of greensand blocks set in mortar with bedding layer of greensand chips. the foundations were approximately 0.65m wide and over 1m deep. The building was 2nd century or later. Three foundations (one represented by a robber trench - see MCC1479) 12m to the south may have formed part of this building (see MCC1471 and MCC1472).<1>
