Full Description

During excavations at Culver Street between 1981-2 and 1984-5 (ECC337), a possible drain was discovered running east-west along the north side of a street (MCC1015). The drain marked the southern edge of an area of cultivated land (MCC855) and was part of a frequently changed drainage system that was hard to interpret (see also MCC1142, MCC1143, MCC1144 and MCC1145).<1>
