Full Description
Roman building identified during excavations at Long Wyre Street, 1979. The building was discovered during the watching brief. All that was noted was part of a foundation made of ragstone and mortar. This seemed to turn northwards at east end to form the limits of a building in the south-east corner of Insula 29.<1>
