Full Description
In 1935 the old 'Wagon and Horses' on North Hill was pulled down and a new building erected further West. The former cellars were extended westwards and the earth to the south exposed (photograph of section is produced in 'Roman Colchester' plate XXXI). A wooden drain was recorded.
