Full Description

(CAT Building 176) indicated by excavation of an east-west wing extending back from the West Stockwell Street frontage. External foundations were of stone and mortar construction presumably supporting a timber-framed, probably two storied superstructure. Other features associated with the building included a well and gravelled area. After its demolition, the area occupied by this building was gravelled over and reverted to a yard at the rear of the Angel Inn. An east-west foundation 10m to the west (MCC111) may be associated with this building.<1>
