Full Description

During excavations at Culver Street between 1981-2 and 1984-5 a Roman drain of the legionary fortress was discovered. The drain was situated on the east side of a building (MCC776) at the corner of two streets (MCC779 and MCC781). The drain linked up with a drain running from a building to the north of the east-west street (See MCC775).<1>
