Full Description

(CAT Building 175) Building indicated by excavated remains of a much disturbed wing extending from the High Street frontage at the rear of 132 High Street. Remains included lengths of stone-and-mortar foundation, which presumably supported a timber-framed superstructure. Associated with the building was a stone-lined pit (cess pit) which had gone out of use before the end of the 16th century.<1>
