Full Description

A historic building assessment was completed by Leigh Alston in 2016 to inform and accompany a planning application for demolition (CBC application 162307). The property was built in the 1840s as one of the first dwellings on Tiptree heath (MCC9118). It was designed as a pair of semi-detached two-up/two-down tenements sharing a central chimney and with weather-boarded studwork. Alterations have significantly depleted the historic integrity of the building.<1>
