Description

DOE survey of No's 19 & 20 North Hill. Grade II. C17 house, timber framed and plastered, the roofs tiled. Refronted in red brick in the C18, with parapet, 8 window range of double hung sashes with glazing bars, the south part of the front breaks forward slightly with 3 windows (A Venetian window on the 1st floor), carriage entrance north end of front with brick arched head. Large early C17 wing at the rear, one transomed window with leaded casements. No's 19 and 20 have modern shop fronts. <1>
