Fluxgate gradiometer survey of arable fields to the south of Tiptree prior to a planning application for the construction of a solar farm. Former (post medieval) field boundaries were detected, the majority appearing on historic mapping, along with a probable trackway. The survey appears to have been broadly successful, with the exception of the north easternmost parcel, where there was considerable magnetic interference.
