Description

DOE survey of No's 38 & 39 East Hill. C16 house with cross wing at East end and C17 extension of rear (No's 40, 41 & 42). Timber framed, plastered and painted. Sash window, mostly with glazing bars. Two storeys and attics, cellars. Tiled roofs. Upper storey projects on the front on curved brackets and also on east side of rear extension. C18 oriel window to upper storey front of the cross wing. 1 small ground floor shop front. <1>
