Description

A historic building record of two farm buildings to the north of Little Loveney Hall (MCC7238), and outside of the moated enclosure (MCC7237), was undertaken by Leigh Alston in 2017 in advance of change of use (Condition 4 of CBC planning application 170974). The barn is a late 19th century timber-framed and weather-boarded structure with an original slate roof dating from c.1890. The stable, to the west of the barn, is a late 19th century timber-framed and weatherboarded shed with a slate roof, formerly an open-sided shelter-shed and probably a bullock shed initially.<1>
