Description

The Colchester Archaeological Trust undertook a watching brief in November 2014 during the construction of two rear extensions of 26 Melrose Road, West Mersea (CBC planning application No.145192). One probable pit containing a worked flint (of likely early Neolithic date), and no other finds, was identified in one of the foundation trenches. <1>
