Description

According to a plan by Rex Hull Roman pavements and wall and a Medieval Well was uncovered in the garden of 17 North Hill in 1924. However the text only mentions work by P.G. Laver in 1925 (See ECC770).<1> From notes in the Museum.<2> It seems likely that work was carried out in the garden in 1923, 1924 & 1925, however it is not clear exactly where or who by.
