Description
Charred plant macrofossils and other materials were sampled from a Roman cemetery at Turner Rise (TRC 96.8). Five samples from cremation. Charcoal (oak, ash) with low densities of charred cereal grains, weed seeds and a tuber of Arrhenatherum. No exotic species represented.<1>
