A Roman urn found while digging foundations of house in Essex Street, 1845, given by Mr Ebenezer King of Crouch Street. This pot has not been identified. It was donated ? 30/7/1849. <1><2><3> An entry in Wire's Diary records 'Looked in at Essex Street, nothing has been found but fragments of Roman urns' <4>
