Description

An excavation for a drain made at the back of No 8 Beverley Road exposed a skeleton or part of one, lying, apparently, with head to the east, between the NW corner of the house and the grass plot. The depth from the surface was 2ft 6" and two or three small sherds of a colour-coated beaker were found near it. <1><2>
