Description
Observation by Mr.E.J. Rudsdale, during erection of Messrs. Cullingford's printing works, of the remains of a wall running N-S by the east side of East Stockwell Street.<1> The Roman levels were only just reached at a depth of nine feet in the stanchions. <2>
