Description

An extensive series of sketch plans and elevations was made of the timbers exposed during restoration and alteration work to No's 6 & 6b Sir Isaacs Walk. The building consists of five blocks ranged alongside the walk. The eastern block has no ground floor because it was built over Sheregate Steps. The Roman wall lies along the rear of all the blocks. Only one block has an attic and one a cellar.<1>
