Description
GREAT HORKESLEY CHURCH STREET 1. 5214 Baytrees House TL 93 SE 3/37 7.4.65 II 2. Probably C15 house, On H-plan with exposed timber frame and jettied cross-wings. North and south hall roof-ridge lower than crosswing ridges with 2 gabled dormers in west slope. One red brick chimney stack stands central to hall range and another flanks south wing. Windows sets of 3 leaded casements on ground storey with one on each wing gable. Extension north of hall range section. One 6 light diagonal mullioned window in rear of hall.
