WORMINGFORD BURES ROAD 1. 5214 TL 93 SW 2/40 Wood Hall 11.6.75 II 2. Medieval, probably C15 and later house of H-plan with painted brick extension forming a double range on the east. Eastern crosswing jettied to the north with very steep side purlin roof. Central hall block with full length lean-to addition on the north. Fenestration mixed, 2 sets of casements in east addition with 3 mullions and a transom. One red brick chimney stack at centre of west crosswing. Roofs ridged and gabled and pegtiled. Moated with bridge. In 1332 William de Horkesleigh and Emma his wife held Woodhall.
