The Roll of Honour website records:
'It takes the form of a Latin cross on tapered shaft atop a plinth with a one step base surrounded by iron railings and contains the same names as the church plaque; there are no names for World War 2 just World War 1. It was unveiled and dedicated 30th May 1920, the builders were Messrs. Deaves and Son.
