First World War, and subsequently Second World War, Memorial, 1921, by W.D. Caroe.

The Roll of Honour Wedsite Records:
It takes the form of a cross mounted on a shaft which in turn is mounted on a plinth with a three-stepped base the whole standing in a cobbled area. The inscription is in black lettering on the plinth. There are 33 names listed for World War 1, 14 names for World War 2 plus 2 names of civilians killed in World War 2. The architect was Mr William Douglas Caroe and the memorial costs circa £500.
