Full Description

In 1849 Wire noted, 'opposite St. Nicholas Church...was a wall foundation of the usual adhesive character, and the operation of breaking it up was difficult. Further on, nearly opposite the Wesleyan Chapel a quality of fragments of thin slabs of marble'.<1><2>
