Full Description

Craxe's Green is originally shown on the 1777 Chapman & Andre Historic Map (although it is not labelled), located to the north-east of, Layer Breton Heath (MCC9138) and south of Garlands Farm, with an area of c.1ha.<1>

Craxe's Green is shown on the County Series at 1:2500 Scale Epoch 1 Historic Map (1874-1887). The modern heath is a similar shape and size to the Epoch 1 map.
