Full Description
Tey Cross Farm is a historic farmstead located to the northwest of the settlement of Great tey. It was first shown on the 1897-1904 Epoch 2 map to be a detached site made up of seven buildings. Apporoximately 50% of these buildings have been progressively demolished between 1904 and 1955. From the buildings that survive two are listed, the Grade II listed C15 Teycross Farmhouse (LB Number: 1223211), and the Grade II listed late C16 barn to the south of Teycross Farmhouse (LB Number: 1223213). There have been some modern buildings erected, along with some modern extensions to original buildings. The listed barn was cleared to be converted for residential use, changing the use of the site to residential. There is a historic landscape feature in the form of a farm pond. <1>
