Full Description
East Gores Farm is a historic farmstead located to the northwest of the settlement of Little Tey. It was first shown on the 1897-1904 Epoch 2 map to be a compact detached site made up of nine buildings. Over 75% of the original buildings were demolished between 1923 and 1973, leaving two listed buildings. These are the Grade II listed c.1700 East Gores Farmhouse (LB Number: 1223384), and the Grade II listed c.1700 barn to the northeast of the farmhouse (LB number: 1223385). There has been a high number of modern buildings built to the north of the site. These have since changed in use from agricultural purposes to business use. In terms of historic landscape features, there are two farm ponds and the remnains of a moat located on the site. <1>
