Full Description

Churchman's farm is a historic farmstead located inside the settlement of Inworth, first shown on the 1897-1904 Epoch 2 map. The site is a small detached farm, with a farmhouse and one interlinked set of outbuilidngs. The farmstead seems to have been converted into residential after being absorbed into Inworth, though this cannot be confirmed. From the original map all of the buildings seem to have survived, including the Grade II listed early C16 Churchman's Farmhouse (LB Number: 1224661). It has undergone some modification and extension, includings what seem to be additions of an entrance hall, bedroom and bathroom. There seems to have been a single dwelling erected on the site to the west of the farmhouse. There is some historic landscape features in the form of a single farm pond located to the west of the outbuildings. <1>
