Full Description

Hill Farm is a historic farmstead located to the south of Inworth. The site was first shown of the 1897-1904 Epoch 2 map. The site was a large detached site made up of a farmhouse fronting the road and, to the east (rear), eight outbuildings. Approximately 75% of the site has been demolished gradually between 1923 and the present, leaving only two buildings remaining - the Grade II listed late C17 Hill Farmhouse (LB Number: 1266749) and an outbuilding to the south east of the dwelling. There have been some modern buildings added, including the erection of a Dutch barn around 1949. There is a farm pond, located to the northeast of the site, which is the only historic environment feature.<1>
